4/5 ★ – Garadarz's review of Bionic Commando.

The first thing i noticed in Bionic Commando is that i dont have the ability to jump on a platform game, that was really hard to get used to, but you have a grappling rope gun, which you can use to move up and down and even defeat enemies with. Although is an "infiltration game", combat is necessary and almost mandatory, but gameplay mechanics were built around the rope weapon, and as a member of the FF (Double Force), you are trained to use that weapon. Bionic Commando is not a linear game as i was image too, you travel between zones, neutral zones and engage with enemies between travels (sometimes). The story is cool, combat is great, you get to find and keep up with clues on where your objetive is and how to become stronger. Definitely a gem in the list of NES games.
