2.5/5 ★ – GeneralGhost's review of Far Cry: New Dawn.
Solid game, never playing again!
It still is a Far Cry, so liberating outposts is fun. Expeditions are the best part. They are Creative, enjoyable and the recreation of the real-world places (like Alcatraz) in an apocalypse setting is just mind-blowing. The graphics are really good. The recreation of the Far Cry 5' map is just amazing. The gunplay and the sounds are to the point. The idea of making guns with wasted parts are just jaw-dropping. However, the side quests are not entertaining. The main story is where the real problem lies. They are boring, irrational and stupid. They are unreasonably long. Nothing makes sense, and all you do is to have hope that Joseph Seed is going to come to the rescue. Duh, it just becomes worse. It is a wasted opportunity. The main villains (the twins) are just meh. They probably wanted to make another Vass.
If you are considering playing it, only do so under two conditions: 1. You are an avid fan of the franchise, and you want to play all of them (like me) 2. You absolutely do not care about the story of the game
