4.5/5 ★ – GoldenLumia's review of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD.

Twilight Princess is easily one of the best 3D Zeldas ever made. With a wide range of enjoyable collectables, fun dungeons, and the most expansive combat via the hidden skills, you'd be hard pressed to find a more enjoyable game that teeters the line between relaxing and engaging. It's not all sunshine and rainbows though; as the opening Faron Woods segments are way too long, there is no way to pass time in the game quickly (which affects collecting Poe souls), characterization of the series iconic characters such as Zelda and Ganondorf are practically nonexistent although Ganondorf does get a good showing at the end. The Cave of Shadows added behind the Wolf Link Amiibo is also genuinely awful, and becomes a chore as you fight enemies not designed to be fought with Wolf Link. The Sky Dungeon is also rather lackluster, and while the final boss had a good spectacle, it was definitely more style than substance. In spite of all this, it sports some of the best dungeons I've seen in a game 30+ hours long, and Snowpeak remains one of my favorites even after I finished. It's a blast to play moment to moment, and the hours flew by as I deliberately hunted down as many collectables I could, something I don't normally do with my limited time to play games. As far as remasters go this one is pretty barebones, but its still the amazing game that was there on the older gen consoles, and if you haven't played it yet you owe it to yourself to do so.
