5/5 ★ – Greggyworld15's review of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
Damn, what’s this 2 serious Greg reviews in a row. Shits kinda crazy.
Anyway when I first got this game I barely played it due to my sibling wanting to watch and then taking the game for a year. I lost a lot of interest and overall love for the game in general. Fast forward to this year all of my roommates agreed that in preparation for TOTK we would enjoy the experience together in order to gear up for the upcoming special and I very much wanted to join in on that. With that being said I’m extremely happy with that choice to join them. This game is beautiful. The world the people the enemies are all amazing and give you so much freedom in terms of finding out what you want and how you want to go about everything. Experiencing the quietness when running around, the joyful songs that would randomly play when near a village or stable, rediscovering my love for the great fairy fountain theme, the horrors that the guardian sounds made and even the creepy tune of the blood moon all added to my experiences. I don’t think there was one village I wasn’t happy being in and exploring, one shrine I never went back to when I couldn’t complete it or an enemy that drove me so far up the wall that I had to put the game down and walk away. Figuring stuff out felt rewarding and fun. There was shit that I had a check list of wanting to do and each time I played things where added because I saw my roommates doing it or because I just randomly found it and I didn’t even do everything the game had to offer. I only had like 44 shrines and it felt like there were so much more I needed to discover. Some many enemies I had yet to conquer, so much land I had yet to discover and so many things I hadn’t even experienced within this game. This isn’t a game where after I be it I feel no need to come back to. I want to play this again and experience everything for a second and first time. After I beat my first divine beast I remember just flying to some random shrine and all I could think was I get it now. This game is beautiful and it deserve the praise that it gets.
Fun Greg notes: Fuck Gannon! His mommy ain’t shit, his daddy ain’t shit, his brother ain’t shit, his sister ain’t shit, his cousin ain’t shit, his auntie ain’t shit, his uncle ain’t shit, his granny ain’t shit and he’s just a piece of shit.
