5/5 ★ – HNTR's review of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.
From the moment the game starts, the story locked me in. From there my first thought was just to go straight through the story and complete the main objectives. That mentality quickly changed when I realized just how well done the combat, characters, soundtrack, and story were.
I loved the evolving combat system and the story arcs kept me on my toes the whole time. The drive to do everything took over.
This is a game that makes you really think about the choices you make and oftentimes makes you feel bad or regret the things that you were originally dead set on doing. The moral and ethical dilemmas create a sense of uncertainty and thought.
This has turned into one of my favorites that I will think about often.
