Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow is in my opinion, just as good as the prequel, Aria of Sorrow, and Aria of Sorrow was a wonderful game, I played this game with the touchscreen less mod so that may change my enjoyment somewhat compared to other people. It however does fall in some places the prequel didn't, and vice versa, I found weapons and souls to be far more limiting in this game compared to the last, and Some aspects just didn't feel as fleshed out as I'd have liked. On the other hand, not only is graphics better obviously, the pixel art is Knock out gorgeous in this game, some of the best I've seen in gaming, and it's music is very top notch as well, and the bosses is also really enjoyable and it has one of the best post game modes I've experienced in gaming, with this game's "Belmont" mode if you will, being worth a whole second playthrough that is truly a joy.
