3.5/5 ★ – Hayden_O's review of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: Radical Rescue.
Radical Rescue is far more of a Metroidvania than your typical Turtles beat-em-up. It would be a nightmare to navigate without a guide, as there’s literally no direction whatsoever, and late-game areas would require insane backtracking if you miss something essential. It’s very well-designed otherwise though, as each Turtle has different abilities to aid in exploring the labyrinth, even if some late-game BS would be rage-inducing without rewind.
With solid gameplay, tight controls, and a great soundtrack, this is a fun time with a walkthrough, and easily one of the most unique TMNT games out there- but I can’t recommend going in blind.
