2/5 ★ – Heimersleep's review of The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan.

Man of Medan…… I was sitting at a 2.5/5 originally; I felt the narrative and characters were decent enough despite the technical issues of the game. E.g. texture pop ins, character models disappearing or other pacing/jump cut issues (literally, sometimes you would start a scene and it would cut to another scene which felt like you just missed 15 seconds of a”the previous scene). So, I was sitting at a 2.5; but then the ending I received happened. I got the trophy for all my characters surviving, but my ending doesn’t suggest that and from what I have seen online, it confirms that. I literally didn’t get the ‘best’ ending because I SUCCEEDED A SKILL CHECK, where if you miss those things in the game and other games like this, bad things happen and people die. So yeah, 2.5/5 means 5/10 so that scores a ‘mediocre’ comment, but no, this is now a bad game for me. 4/10
