1.5/5 ★ – HeyArnold33's review of Star Wars: Jedi Knight - Dark Forces II.

An old one that I use to play when I was really young. I Always remembered the first 3 levels because that's the farthest I could get. Now having the chance to kill Jerec (for the last and only time), I have to say I was disappointed. The story was very shallow. No back story of the main character and how he came to have Jedi powers. Didn't really understand the main goal of the villain either. The gameplay was terrible. I had to figure out what each force power did and how I could use it in game/fights (there was no explanation). Configuring it to the keyboard in a comfortable fashion was a mess as well. Given the fact that it's a really old game and I'm playing for nostalgia, I know there were good intentions, but overall bad delivery. This could be because of the time it was made and it was more than likely a cash grab. I'd say give it a try if you played it when it came out, if you didn't, move along. Also, I did have to cheat on 2 parts because it was literally impossible and I didn't have back saves to undo my mistakes.
