Hiper's review of Crimson Desert.
Notes
The story feels like an after thought it feels tacked on, the controls are a fucking mess there’s so many inputs, the gameplay is alright and the environments look great but this game is so overwhelming they just dump u in it and leave u to it which is alright in some cases but this is ridiculous…there’s no tutorials for any of the open world shit or even mechanics you’re jus expected to know everything, when u finish you’re probably gonna miss most of the shit, so many game mechanics as well which is just way to much, there’s a lot to do in the open world I do like the variety I like how u can go into a building and rob everything , on one hand it’s cool that there’s literally everything but on the other there’s jus no focus at all it seems like the devs wanted to cram as much shit as they could into a game and call it a day
The mission design is atrocious it’s mainly just fetch quests, puzzles feel unfinished, the prompt to do stuff seems delayed as well for some reason, those missions where you have to follow someone on a horse is so boring and tedious
Genius devs thought it’d be a good idea to have a million crows on screen and make the fight unplayable, did they actually play test their game?
The shit they do pad out missions is insane, picks up when u build your own base/home
