A huge step down from the first one, which is shocking because this had the opportunity to be something brilliant. Slasher horror is my forte, and Springtrap as a character feels so authentically slasher-coded. A 1-on-1 between you and him could have been atmospherically terrifying and brilliant, but instead it’s primarily frustrating. I’m convinced he has no pattern and simply does what he chooses. I could go on about how mechanically flawed and awful this one was, but it’s a FNAF game, it’s really not worth the wasted breath.
