This was a nice afternoon wacky romp. I never played untitled goose game so this is my first venture into this team’s work. They sort of advertised this as “British humor” and to an extent this is true, however I feel the main humor comes from the pure randomness. At times this almost felt like inter dimensional cable. It’s very hard to get me to laugh out loud, but there are moments in this game that genuinely made me laugh, whether it be from pure randomness or from some messed up thing I did. I was also a big fan of the art style. That’s what originally made this game stick out and be put on my radar, and I’m glad I followed up. It’s hard to describe what it’s similar to, but it feels original and I felt it added to the experience. The story was something alright. At first it was off putting as it felt like there was nothing going on, but as you loop through the areas a few times and see smaller story lines progress, it becomes more endearing. What started as a small nitpick became more bearable over time and eventually I fell in love with it. I’d say check this one out if you are into these quirky short indies. I completed it in about 2 and a half hours while cleaning up most achievements, and will definitely be back for the rest!
