4/5 ★ – IrishFrenchman's review of Aaero.

[Steam Deck] Aaero is hard. Or I kind of suck. ...probably a bit of both... Regardless, this is a game you will not beat if you're just looking for a casual experience. The campaign requires a fairly high mastery level just to progress from song to song. I can respect the challenge, but I am not committed enough to get there. Still, the absolute BANGER soundtrack and unique gameplay really drew me in and pushed me further into the campaign than I expected - I made it about 3/4ths of the way through before deciding it was time to move on. If you're crazy about rhythm games and are looking for a good challenge, though, do not sleep on this. You must be into electronic music, though, as the soundtrack is basically all licensed from electronic labels like Monstercat. Good for me, but I could see it being grating for others. Between that difficulty, unique gameplay, surreal sci-fi artstyle, and hard electronic soundtrack, Aaero certainly targets a niche. But if you fall in the crosshairs of those various niches, this is definitely an experience you should try.
