4/5 ★ – Ithlilian's review of Radiant Tale.

It's very rare for a game to have strong world building, a good story, and characters that I'm completely interested in, and this one comes close. I love games that have unique magic systems like a Sanderson novel, and so many of these do. Vibrant colors, interesting magic, different exciting cultures, all present here. A main story I cared about, and every character's story played into that, to end with the world impact storyline, which was a great way to tell a full and complete tale. Not to mention enjoyable side characters and magical beings. I enjoyed the story here, but I almost wish there was a little more, maybe more personality or depth to the characters, maybe more for them to do outside of the main mission, just a little extra something, that would have put this into the highest echelon of game. I think the world will stick with me, but the characters felt more like storytelling vessels than strong standouts.
