3/5 ★ – Itsgrimsby's review of Cat Quest II.

Cat Quest 2 mostly felt like the first game again; and while the first time it was a charming adventure, the second time it got stale pretty quickly. The big addition is co-op and maybe if I played with a friend I’d have enjoyed it more (though I doubt it as at its core the gameplay would be the same). The problem with the game this time around is that it feels like you’re forever hacking away at enemies that can kill you much quicker than you can kill them and after 10 hours of repeating this loop you’ve seen it all.
