3.5/5 ★ – Itsgrimsby's review of Lifeline: Halfway to Infinity.
The third entry in the Taylor Lifeline series returns to the strengths of the original. Taylor is more or less alone, aside from the player and one other character. This works a lot better than the many characters you briefly run into during the second game. It still doesn’t have the ominous mystery and unknown threat of the first game, but instead opts for a time travel story where you’re forced to question what and who you can trust.
For the first time in the series, I took a wrong path that lead to Taylor’s early death. What I appreciated about this was that it taught me a few bits of key information that influenced by decisions later on to get me on the right path. I still failed a few more times so I would definitely say this is the hardest game to make the right choices in.
