2/5 ★ – Itsgrimsby's review of Senua's Saga: Hellblade II.

Hellblade 2 is one of the best looking games I’ve ever played. And that is where I run out of nice things to say about it unfortunately. The gameplay is consistent in that it is boring; the puzzles go on for a bit too long, the combat really doesn’t feel good at all and just becomes a case of block a few hits and then use some super ability to auto win, and the movement is so slow. I wanted to like this game, since it’s rare a game feels so cinematic as this. Though ultimately I’ve come to realise after playing Hellblade 2 that I don’t video games to feel like I’m playing a movie. I want them to feel like I’m playing a video game. The real kicked is that I couldn’t even finish the game because it just kept crashing on me to the point that I decided I really didn’t care enough to see it through.
