3/5 ★ – Itsgrimsby's review of Splitgate 2.

This game is currently in Open Beta so it feels odd to review it, however, it also feels like a pretty close to release game at this point and this isn’t an official review in any capacity anyway so why not. The game is fun! I think the portal mechanic is good and sets it apart from other first person shooters. And that’s kind of all I have to say about it. It’s clearly trying to set itself up to be a living live service game with cosmetics and battle passes, we’ll see how well that does. This is a game I’ll jump in a few more times with friends and then probably put it away forever. And that’s fine.
