4/19/25 This was pretty okay! Big fan of the smooth gameplay as always. Mario games, 2D and 3D alike, are always gonna have some of the finest movement in any platformer I'll ever play, and this is no different. Everything is so silky smooth and satisfying and I adored every second... except for when it got a bit monotonous towards the end. I get that having a big tough blowout level right at the end to help you feel super accomplished is sort of a tradition for modern Mario titles, but this one was just.... meh. Rosalina was a GREAT surprise, tho! So much fun there. Bowser's Fury was a game I had seen or heard nothing about before I played it, so I was quite pleasantly surprised when I found a sort of proto-Odyssey packed into this cartridge! Short but very, very sweet. Loved my experience with this, but I'm glad to move on, honestly. I'm not sure if I'll ever replay this again. Good times.
