2.5/5 ★ – JayTheCh1cken's review of Mario Kart World.

For the price this game was advertised as, which I remind everyone was $80, this game barely offers anything that improves upon Mario Kart 8. 30 player races sound interesting but they just make staying in the middle of the pack just awful with how much items are thrown around everywhere. The open world is completely unnecessary, and while the in between of the tracks are still fun to drive through and aren't straight lines like the trailers made them look, I would still rather just have 3 laps at each track. The new tracks also suffer from the open world simply existing, because they just aren't very memorable probably because of the effort that would've been spent on polishing them instead going to the open world. The new characters like the snowman and the penguin are funny but it's just weird that they're even here. Anyway, that's all I really can find it in me to say. The game is definitely fun but it probably won't top Double Dash or Wii or even 8. Add in the crazy price and I just can't really love this game at all.
