Metroid Fusion, except they jammed in a million and one plotlines for some reason. "Samus! You need to stop the Deleter and Ridley is a Pokémon and Mother Brain has been rebuilt and there are unfreezable Metroids in Sector Zero!" Except all of those things get solved on their own for some reason. I can't hate the ambition though, and the 2D style in 3D is so much fun. Hopefully we can get some sort of refinement of this style in a game that's not all over the place, but with how much of a dark spot this game has left on the franchise's history, I doubt that'll happen. Still, it's a fun game.
