3.5/5 ★ – JetpackDinosaur's review of Battlefield™ 6.

Battlefield 6 looks beautiful and plays incredibly well. Matchmaking is streamlined, and maps with bots help with playing low stakes games for fun and practice. Guns feel especially good on PS5 with the haptic triggers. Overall BF6 is a return to form for the mainline series. It feels almost exactly like the good old days of BF3 and BF4. My main gripes are the lack of the truly gigantic maps and the slow, somewhat boring progression. MTAs are also pushed to the forefront of the game, and while other games do this too, BF6 is a fully priced retail game - other games with this level of pushing MTAs are usually free to play or cheap. It wouldn’t be as annoying if progression felt rewarding. It takes forever to level up and to unlock things like new gadgets, gun attachments, or even basic skins. Still, it’s super fun and not ever worth taking seriously. The Redsec game modes are a fun and tense addition, but the core game is still a blast.
