4/5 ★ – KHFanXIII's review of Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus.

Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus is a game I've played countless times. I've been playing it since childhood and the series itself is one of my all time favorites However I much preferred to play the later games as, for many years, this first game just didn't connect with me in a big way. I played it just *because* it was a Sly Cooper game and not necessarily because I enjoyed it or wanted to However, this recent playthrough on PS5, everything just clicked for me. I dunno if it's because I'm older or my tastes have changed or whatever, but I REALLY liked it this time. I felt so in tune to the rhythm of the game. I even went and did every Master Thief Challenge (time trial) for the game which is something I've never done before. I was just having so much fun and while I still think I enjoy Sly 2 more, my opinion on this game has shot up so much since I last played it.
