5/5 ★ – Kdogdigital's review of God of War: Ragnarök.

"To have grieved deeply… is to have loved fully. Open your heart to the world as you've opened it mine and you will find ever reason to keep living in it" God of War Ragnarök is one of of those games that you think about ever so often months after you've finished the journey with Kratos and Atreus. This game is Sony Santa Monica's magnum opus in the God of War Franchise, they built so expertly off the back of the first one with new and inventive story telling that subverts expectations not to be unpredictable but in a way that benefits the characters and the story being crafted. This feels like the God of War game they wanted to make from the start and its so so perfect, the music, the action, the gameplay, the lore, the story, the characters, etc are all crafted with such care. Kratos' and Atreus' stories expand and the arc they go is insanely well fleshed out with Kratos coming to terms with who he might have to be all the while trying to defy fate. Its such a globe trotting adventure with twists and turns, places that made me cheer and places that made me cry. If this is it for our two main leads, I'd say I am satisfied but if there's a chance I can play another GOW game I'm gonna take it. -I LOVED IT
