Despite this game being so popular, I honestly couldn't finish this one. The game's main focus is speed. In Advance 2's case, this is a bad thing as the level design suffers immensely from this decision. By the time I got to the fifth zone, the game was starting to feel cheap by putting bottomless pits in paths where you're encouraged to go fast. Speaking of being encouraged to go fast, the way you collect the Chaos Emeralds in this game goes against that. In order to even have a chance at getting one, you need to collect all seven special rings within a level. To make matters worse, in order to unlock the true final boss with Super Sonic, you need to collect all seven emeralds with the four main characters. I dropped this game during the sixth zone and have no intentions of ever going back to it. If you like this game, that's completely fine, it's just not my type of game.
