"An incredible game that I stupidly slept on." Where do I start? Well I originally purchased this game in 2018, played about 12 hours and for some reason stopped. I then tried again in early 2021, again stopping at the same point. This year was the year I was challenged to finish it. I'm so glad I accepted. This game is nothing short of outstanding. The soundtrack is incredible, and the storytelling is some of the best I've ever had in a game. I had a few moments where the game was rather frustrating (looking at you, Tobi) but I've not had this much fun in ages! Each boss wasn't particularly difficult to beat but it felt satisfying to take each one down. Even the final boss, Yami (who I had no idea how to even damage at first) was an enjoyable fight. I'm genuinely sad it's over. Many tears have been shed today, for a game that I never thought would become probably one of my favourites in all the years and consoles I've had. If you're a fan of japanese mythology, this one's a must play!
