3.5/5 ★ – Lammy's review of A Little To The Left.
A Little to the Left + DLC post-100% review: Note- I can't say I have all the achievements because I haven't done a puzzle a day for 100 consecutive days, but I don't think that'll change my rating here. A Little to the Left is a cosy indie puzzle game where you... tidy up, mostly. You're presented with a series of everyday objects that you need to sort, stack, and organize in order to progress and unlock the next puzzle. Several puzzles will have multiple solutions, and you need to find each one in order to get the 100% completion. The two DLC, "Cupboards & Drawers" and "Seeing Stars" are an additional 132 puzzles, and there are Daily Tidy puzzle-per-day challenges and an Archive of themed puzzles to complete. None of the puzzles are particularly daunting, and it took me about 8-10 hours to complete them all (I left Steam running while I ate a few times so I'm not exactly sure how long it was). The trickiest part of the game is that it requires some objects to be placed on a blank background with some precision in order to count as 'solved' but the game does snap them into place once they're close enough. The music is chill but unmemorable and the game's artstyle is pretty tame. There's also no story to speak of, so basically all there is to draw you in is the puzzles themselves. This is a fun puzzle solving experience for a few hours if you need a break from daunting RPGs or horror spectacles, and it doesn't try to be much more than that. I had a good time, so I'll give it a 7/10.
