2.5/5 ★ – Lammy's review of Bubumbu.
Bubumbu post-100% review: This game took me 34 minutes to 100%. Bubumbu is a little hand drawn puzzle game kind of thing. You move puzzle pieces around point-and-click style, with the objective of uniting the image on the puzzle piece with the character on the map that desires that object. There are also little hidden things to click on in each level, like skulls or mushrooms. That's it. The art is neat and silly, with a kind of Adventure Time-esque design ethos that I enjoyed. The music is kinda bland, and the game's response to my mouse clicks wasn't super responsive, so about 5 minutes of my 34 minute playtime was spent fighting to get the puzzle piece man where I wanted him to go. There's not a lot here, but the game costs 99 cents, and I got it for 49 cents on sale, so I still somehow got my money's worth, I think. Giving this like a 5/10, it's a perfectly functional game that evoked very few reactions in my very short time with it.
