Date A Live: Rinne Utopia post-100% review: Why did I buy a Date A Live visual novel when I haven't watched the show or read the light novels? Not important. What IS important is that if you, dear reader, go out and buy a copy of Date A Live: Rio Reincarnation it will come with three separate games included. Rinne Utopia is the first, and it is very good! It's hard to review visual novels without spoiling the story, and story's all you've got here, so I'm going to be quick - spending several days in the company of some of mid-2010s anime's most recognizable characters is entertaining, the writing is strong and characterful, and the CGs and art both stand out! If I had to rank the routes, I'd have to say: 1. Origami Tobiichi 2. TRUE ENDING (no spoil) 3. Kurumi Tokisaki 4. Yoshino 5. Tohka Yatogami 6. Kotori Itsuki All in all, definitely worth it, especially as part of a larger whole. 8/10 (Please note that this game has mature themes)
