3.5/5 ★ – Lammy's review of The Pedestrian.
The Pedestrian post-plat review: This was a nifty little puzzle platformer! The Pedestrian is a short indie game where you play as a stickman( or -woman) navigating through levels presented as being printed on signs and surfaces. The stickman can connect signs together via doors or ladders to navigate between them, though changing which doors connect will reset the level and anything you've manipulated within it, adding a strategic puzzle aspect to the game. Moving through levels allows the stickman to cross physical space, exposing a vibrant city background that's really well assembled. There's a bit of narrative to the game, but it's mostly rear-loaded and twisty so I'm not going to discuss it super heavily. In addition to the main story path, there are 5 secret puzzles, accessed by transparent ladders in specific levels that are tricky to see, that when completed allow your stickman to wear a hat. The game was breezy and fun, taking me about 3 hours to clear fully. I got it in a Humble Bundle, and you should definitely try to pick it up if it's bundled with something you like; IDK if it's worth the full $20 asking price, but discounts or bundles make it much more palatable. It's not particularly ambitious, but I had a fun enough few hours to call this a 7/10 game.
