The story seems like it would be great, especially for the newer era of Sonic fans. Yet this RPG feels forced. The controls are anything but intuitive. In the early game there is no explanation of where to go or what to find. The Mario and Luigi RPG series didn’t have any issues with this. The character models are off unless they’re in the hand-drawn cutscenes. The music would be great if the sound wasn’t so tinny. While I’d love to enjoy this game and what it was attempting, I can’t see past the fundamental flaws. I appreciate the story depth it was going for, but too much was against the game from the moment it entered the DS Lite
