I wanted to write a bit more on this chapter. I think that this is the moment that the game becomes serious. The dark world doesn’t have a comedic villain at all and the whole chapter barely has any humor. When playing the dark world, especially at the start, it felt like I really was about to experience something special and it shows what I think the rest of the game is going to be like. The music has a sense of importance that matches this dark world. I also really liked the pixel art in the chapter, especially one scene that involves an argument and lightning and the final boss. If Temmie is still making the art, she’s doing amazing. I’m just so excited to see how the story continues from here and I’m happy for Toby Fox for the amount of support he’s getting on his own passion project. This game really is unlike anything I have played and is better than any game released this year, could be the decade when this story finishes. I feel like everybody that isn’t playing this is missing out on something big.
