4/5 ★ – LogicalNuisance's review of Dodgeball Academia.

Part-anime adventure, part-sports rpg, and weirdly reminiscent of old Cartoon-Network shows (looking at you Gumball), Dodgeball Academia is a wholly-unique experience that I'm glad to have taken a chance on. The fights are fun and engaging, the quirky and eclectic cast are charming as hell, and the dialogue brought me back to my Shonen Jump days. I was hooked from the minute I started. The only real drawback came in its parry/ball-catching system. Not sure if it's because the window of opportunity is too short or the character animations are too slow, but I never felt it was entirely fair in its design. Regardless, I managed to find my own flow and avoided it altogether. I had an absolute blast with this game, and hope for a sequel in the near future.
