3/5 ★ – Looks_to_the_moon's review of Haunted Castle Revisited.

I (like many others) have been craving for many years, a new classicvania from Konami, finally in 2024 this wish came true, and we got Haunted Castle revisited, a very mid game. The game is really easy compared to others from the franchise, and because of how easy it is, it also becomes pretty short. Castlevania games are short by nature, but because of how difficult they are, you spend more time playing them, and they don't feel as short, this does not apply for haunted castle revisited. The movement, combat, and visuals are good, the boss fights are a lot of fun, and the music is spectacular. Overall, I would only recommend this game to other fans of the franchise that have already played the other games. To finish this review, this game is a masterpiece compared to the original haunted castle.
