2.5/5 ★ – MPT's review of Amnesia: Justine.

this is the only piece of dlc for TDD which is a shame because it’s such a great game. and as a short and sweet expansion i wouldn’t say it’s bad, it’s just wayyyy too short to be anything better. it adds a cool new focus, which is making your way through different puzzles where 3 people’s lives are at stake. it’s a cool idea but nothing really gets done with it. you kill them or save them, or a mixture of the two, but you still get the same ending so there’s not really a point in experimenting and replaying unless you want the achievements. the monster is really quite scary as well, and the bits where it’s a threat are quite pulse pounding, just like the chase sequences in the original game. the big problem with the dlc though is how short it is. seriously it can be beaten in about 10-15 minutes, maybe even shorter if you’re extra quick, and there’s not really any replay value to speak of aside from achievements. again it’s not as if it’s bad, some of the new things added like the monster and killing/ sparing system thing are cool, but the length and pointlessness of it kind of kills it for me a bit, but it’s still not as if it’s astoundingly bad, i’d describe my time with it as below average. still play it obviously, especially if you have the Collection.
