5/5 ★ – Main's review of The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap.

This is my modern favorite Zelda game. (AND ITS NOT EVEN MODERN ANYMORE 😭) I picked this game up way after its release, I found it at a thrift store and happened to have found my old Gameboy Advance SP that same week. Fate got me to play it, and my god am I happy it did. Look, I’ve played many a Zelda game, and I’ve loved them all so so dearly. This game though, holy hell, words can’t even describe. I haven’t felt the joy and magic of a Zelda game like this since I was a kid. The discovery, the sense of progression, the way the game makes you feel for every NPC you meet. There's truly nothing like it. I 100% completed this game, including the mirror shield quest, the Kin stone quests and even the stupid shell gacha crap. I loved every minute of it, and there is absolutely a chance I play it again in the next few years. Please if you're a fan or Zelda, and haven't already do yourself a favor and pick this one up.
