3/5 ★ – MalcolmBoyd's review of Batman: Rise of Sin Tzu.

6.5 Good fun in short bursts, but a very repetitive experience if you play more than one mission at a time. The positives? The story was solid, and the voice acting was great, as well as the soundtrack which, while not very Batman, fits the beat em up action and it's catchy. The combat is good fun, and being able to play as any of the batfamily is great, although Batman is the only character that appears in cutscenes. The game also looks pretty solid, and ran mostly without problems until the last couple levels, where the frame rate dipped quite often. The negatives? Very very repetitive, you just run down corridors beating thugs up. Again, it's fun in short bursts, but some of the levels are far too long for their own good. The timer is also an annoying mechanic. There was only one time in my playthrough that I ended up in the last couple of seconds, but it's always in the back of my mind that I need to hurry up, which doesn't make for a relaxing experience. It's mostly inconsequential, which makes its inclusion all the more pointless. The boss fights aren't great either. The Clayface fight is very easy, the Bane fight is solid enough. The Scarecrow fight kinda sucks, and the final fight against Sin Tzu just takes far too long. All in all, this is a solid enough Batman beat 'em up, and I would recommend it to any Batman fans that haven't picked it up, as long as you get it cheap enough and keep your expectations in check, I think you'll have a good time
