2/5 ★ – Manic_Zucc's review of Golden Axe II.

Like the first game this is a super generic beat ‘em up. I gotta dock it a bit though for not innovating on the original at all. It’s essentially the same game with some new enemy designs and nothing else. I have the same likes and dislikes with this game as I did with the first (though I do think the final boss in this game is improved from the original game) but ultimately the lack of any originality leaves a bitter taste in the mouth.
