4/5 ★ – MattAndrews's review of Batman: Arkham Origins.

Batman Arkham Origins is a game that gets a lot of undeserved hate and some of the franchise's best moments came from Arkham Origins. Every holiday season I revisit the game and it never gets old. The real downside to this game was that the city was empty (again), the plot twist towards the halfway point, and there's no real innovation with this game. The reason why it's so good is the gameplay is literally copy and paste from Arkham City, which is my favorite Arkham game and my favorite game in general. If WB Montreal had to come up with all the mechanics without Rocksteady's games as a guide I think this game would be a lot worse.
