4/5 ★ – MattieWitty's review of The Sims 2.

For some reason this is the Sims game I look back on the most fondly. My Grandad taught me well though by pirating a version with all the expansions, sticking it to EA even before their dire immorality as a company had fully emerged from the shadows yet. Anyway, a huge objective for all games is to give the player escapism, and this whole franchise basically allows you be a sentient cloud-man who twists and tangles the downfall of human beings without fear of consequence. I wonder how EA of all companies could conceive of such an abhorrent premise for a game...
