3/5 ★ – Mikumikuboy's review of Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc.

Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc is the first game in the Danganronpa series. Personally, I liked it, even though it's, in my opinion, the weakest entry of the Trilogy. (not counting Ultra Despair Girls since it's a spin-off) You take the role of Makoto Naegi, the Super High School Level Lucky Student, trying to escape Hope's Peak Academy after being forced to participate in a killing game held by the headmaster, a black and white teddy bear named Monokuma. Being a visual novel, it means there is gonna be a lot of reading... *but*, it isn't only that. Class trials will be held in every chapter of the game, to find out who killed who. If you don't manage to find out who the killer is, everybody except them dies. If you do find them out, they will be killed, showing their execution in a cinematic with a very unique art style. I believe anyone who ignores this game for the fandom alone is missing out a LOT, so, if you want to try it out, Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc is available on Steam, Android and IOS, PS4, PSP and PSVita.
