There is nothing I can say about this which hasn’t been said a thousand times, but it’s a classic for a good reason. It’s iconic, and a solid platformer which you can breeze through in under an hour. It feels good when you get in the zone and your momentum carries you past enemies and obstacles. It’s really annoying not being able to scroll left, and the physics of Mario’s movement has been improved significantly in later games, but it’s a solid game and a landmark of gaming history.
