3.5/5 ★ – Natisfea's review of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings.
Big improvements over the first game LIKE BEING ABLE TO MEDITATE ANYWHERE I WANT, LAWD.
The graphics and areas are better with more detail, easier to get more money and buy stuff too plus character models look better. But everything isn’t that much better like the combat feels lose and super sensitive, it definitely needs that Arkham Asylum combat cause it’s awkward fighting more than one person, Dragon Age 2 around this time had much better combat.
There’s still difficulty spikes, the bosses aren’t so bad but somehow just regular dudes are harder than a Dragon fight. Random cutscenes with QTE’s that don’t show up after the first two hours, awful map display when you look from the menu then there’s half assed stealth section. Thankfully the story is good and the third game becomes perfection.
