3.5/5 ★ – Nerve's review of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U.

The black sheep of smash, especially after Ultimate’s release. But at launch this roster was crazy, the for glory mode and omega forms were a nice nod to the competitive scene. And the content with Mii costumes, custom moves, amiibo training and classic mode ensures the staple years long guarantee that smash provides. But no story mode is really felt here. Not even an adventure mode. The fighting can be slow at times. Really held back by trying to match it’s 3DS companion.
