4.5/5 ★ – Niebeer's review of Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward.

This is where I started to really grow to love FF14, as the story can focus on one region and it's central conflict, Ishgard and its war against dragons. A Realm Reborn had to spend most of its time fleshing out the world of Eorzea and introduce you to its many characters, and as a result its seen as the reason why the beginning of FF14 can feel like a slog. The story in Heavensward however feels alot better paced and gives its core cast a lot of time grow. There are many dramatic twists and turns, all presented with a gorgeous art style and beautiful soundtrack.
