3/5 ★ – Oodles's review of Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury.

Review In Progress. Super Mario 3D World There is something intoxicating about booting up a new Mario game. The quality oozes from Nintendo’s flagship mascot in every way, from the music and the bright visuals from the get-go which cannot be ignored. I didn’t focus on the story upon launching 3D World, but to summarise...A baddie has captured and frozen some fairies and Mario and his chums have to go out and stop said Baddie (hardly revolutionary but this isn’t the draw). Currently, as of writing this I’m on world 4 and while I have been enjoying this game as a traditional Mario Game which reminds me most of 3D Land on 3DS (which isn’t a bad thing), I can’t help but feel I’d be having more fun playing Multi-player, but alas my children simply do not have an affinity towards Mario or his games as people my age do, they only respond Lara Croft shooting Deadpool in a battle royale environment in Fortnite...so I’ll never know if multiplayer is “where it’s at” Anyways this isn’t a full product review as such...more of an introspective as the package does come bundled with Bowsers Fury, A standalone campaign with a twist?! When I’ve finished 3D World and Bowser's fury, I will update this review ad-hoc and give it a final score. -Kinda Conclusion- For now, the game has been enjoyable if somewhat too formulaic in comparison to Super Mario Galaxy (which I’ve recently beat) I’ll finish the game and write up a full review including gameplay features soon. If I were to give it a score for now it’d be a solid 3/5 Mama Mia!
