Minecraft Dungeons is a really fun dungeon crawler, that has obviously taken some inspiration from Diablo and other franchises in the genre, but that’s not always a bad thing, and not at all for this game ! The team for this game created a really enjoyable experience in the Minecraft universe, based on a formula that has been proven to work before. The weapon and armor variety in this game is I think its biggest gameplay strength, there is a combination for everyone, and you’ll always be excited when a mob or a chest drops a weapon or a suit of armor. The soundtrack and sound design are also a complete success, and the artstyle is absolutely magnificent and very pleasing to look at at all times. The level design is also an unexpected strength of the game, the environments never feel boring to walk through, and I even enjoyed replaying some levels. The story is also pretty good, also being on the lighter side. It is easy to follow, and I even surprised myself when I realised I was attached to the main antagonist. All in all, a fun experience that you won’t regret playing, also it is lacking it is a bit lacking in replayability for me, which is why I can only give it 3.5 stars.
