3/5 ★ – PKMX's review of Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins.

This is actually kinda good, surprisingly enough. I respect it. I don't have any strong negative feelings towards it. The original GameBoy has an absolutely piss ugly aesthetic but what can you do about that. Music was tolerable. Just not substantial enough to exceed 3 stars. What it does provide is pretty good and kinda fun though, a major step up from Land 1. Speaking of, let this double as my review of that game too. Honestly, I don't want to tamper with my one liner review because it's funny, so let's contain my actual thoughts here. Well yeah, it's definitely a game that can only be enjoyed by perverts. It's like 35 minutes long, looks like shit and sounds like shit and plays like shit and it's bad weird, not good weird and it's just a bunch of fucking nothing. So so bad, zero justification for it getting more than one star. I couldn't believe what I was playing. Dead last in the rankings, no doubt. But thankfully, we've got one good Mario GameBoy game here. Improves on the original in every single way and I really admire its creativity. First appearance of Wario! ((Might come back to it eventually to determine if it deserves a higher score. I feel bad giving it the same score as that fucking piece of shit SMB1, but at the same time idk just yet if I can justify a 3. We'll see.)) <--- I changed it to a 3. Better game than SMB1! This is the last original 2D Mario game in this project! All just GBA remasters/ports of NES/SNES games now. Weird to think that when I got NSMB DS for my birthday, THIS was the most recent original 2D Mario? Anyway, it's decent! Possibly even good! Actually, it's good!
