4/5 ★ – PeeblesZach's review of Transformers: War for Cybertron.

With the release of Transformers one last year I found myself deep diving back into this franchise I hadn't really looked at since my childhood. I had physical copies of this game and fall of cybertron for playstation 3 I'm currently on a second play through on pc for both games. These are both excellent over the shoulder third person shooters with the really fun gimmick of being able to transform your character into whatever corresponding vehicle they are it also does very well as a prequel to the franchise Getting to see the much talked about war for cybertron that drove the Transformers to our planet. The art direction is solid and the Chunky designs of all the robots end up looking really really good Unfortunately for this particular entry I found it difficult to read enemies something about the art direction in this first game is very Gray despite the colorful nature of the robots May have been a draw distance issue on the playstation version as I seem to be having an easier time on pc. I played on the hardest skill and I did find myself struggling a lot but not in a way that indicated unfairness The only thing I could truly say was unfair was the final boss that needed some work I wonder if I'll have an easier time now that I'm on my second play through on a faster machine. If you have an interest in third person shooters like gears of war or uncharted Or a great love for this franchise I think this is a good game for you
