4/5 ★ – Pencil_Nexus's review of Deltarune: Chapter 2.

I want to punt Berdly into the stratosphere. Jokes aside, another great chapter into this budding story. I enjoyed my time with pacifist Chapter 2 a bit more than the first. The new enemy types they added brings some spice to the already great formula. Everything is still top-notch, from the god-tier soundtrack to amazing visuals to the satisfying gameplay loop. The new characters are great as well. Noelle's story Arc, hit some great emotional beats, as well as the slightly annoying but entertaining Berdly. Queen was a great addition, a bit too quirky at times, but her addition gave us Punch-Out in Deltarune, so that makes up for it. I will say, the secret boss Spamton was entertaining and very intriguing in his own right. Not as hard as Jevil, but I love that it went full shmup on us. Now that I'm caught up, I guess I have to play the waiting game like everyone else.
